The 2010 GFA trapping
seminar was held on Saturday, August 28 at 10 AM at The
First Presbyterian
Church pavilion, 1349 Macon Road in Griffin.
Buster Brown had this to say about the event:
"Lara Bardugon
and Kathryn Dudek from the Chattahoochee Nature
Center
gave
some very
good info about the various ailments (and treatments
for each) that can affect a bird. Thom Bardugon discussed
what being a falconer really means and the importance
of joining
NAFA.
Greg Ames talked about gaining permission to hunt
on private property. It was very informative and caused
much discussion. Bob Gordon was his normal self, giving
one of the best trapping instructional programs I've
seen in about 15 minutes.
Overall the seminar got rave reviews from the 30+ in
attendance."
